Giengen, Germany

Giengen is located in the district of Heidenheim on the Brenz River. The original Teddy Bear was made here by Margarete Steiff, and the town is literally obsessed with Teddy Bears which is fun and a bit weird. Positioned along one of the main feeder routes of the Compostella Trail, Giengen is visited each year by an increasing number of walking pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostella.

(Interesting Fact, The mascot for FC Hiedenheim is a Teddy Bear named Paule who hails from the town.)
